Greetland FC

Welcome to our website. We are a local football club based in Greetland, near Halifax, West Yorkshire. We have teams from Under 6 to Open Age, including Girls and Disability teams.

Website Under Contruction

Our Junior teams play in the Huddersfield Junior Football league and West Riding Girls League. The Under 7's and Under 8's play 5-a-side Mini Soccer, the Under 9's and Under 10's play 7-a-side. Our Under 11's and Under 12's play in the 9-a-side leagues. Our older teams, from U13's to U16's play 11-a-side. We have two Open age teams who play in the Halifax & District AFL. Our Disability teams train at 3Gi Soccer in Halifax and take part in West Riding County FA Ability Counts league.
We also run Under 6 training sessions on a Saturday morning during term time.

Greetland at HTAFC

Greetland Goldstars JFC is an FA Charter Standard Community Club. In line with this commitment the club has qualified coaches at all age levels, and welcomes players of all abilities .

There are over 250 clubs in the West Riding who are Charter Standard. We are one of only a few clubs who have gained the FA Charter Standard Community Club Status.

Club Philosophy

Who we are

We are a Charter Standard Community football club, serving the local community in providing football for everyone irrespective of age, race, sex or ability.

How we play

We actively promote football in a positive manner, respecting others around us, playing fairly and behaving graciously to oppositions and officials at all times.

The player

Our players are representatives of our club, we promote development of players to achieve the best they can whilst always enjoying the experience of football.

How we coach

We promote our coaches to continuously develop their skills so they can provide the best coaching to all our players in a safe and positive environment for progression.

How we support

The club supports and mentors all coaches and players who wish to progress their coaching experience and football activities within the club.

Greetalnd mini soccer

We have over 30 x 'FA level 1' qualified coaches and 1 x 'FA level 2' qualified coach to maintain our high standard of achievement, as well as qualified referees to ensure fair play.
